The cultivation of empathy and tolerance toward others is a good starting point in any society. From a young age children should be taught about the importance of all races in our world and that diversity within and between different cultures should not warrant a disconnection from each other. From an early age fostering love and respect for fellow humans at home and in schools will make an enormous positive impact on the psychology of society in the future – the notion that we are all connected to each other at a fundamental level. This is where a fairer society begins, this is how to minimise the selfishness that contributes to a cut-throat world in politics and finances. Dare I say it – that a less male dominated society could help with this change. Socio-economic inequality could not survive in a world where there was an elevated consciousness to embrace all.
