In a fair society, the conditional framework for a self-determined life for every human being is given, and does not depend on race or gender. Everybody should live the way they like, free of oppression and exploitation. Everyone has equal access to public goods and can participate in society. The idea of such a society requires a fair distribution of wealth, which can be realized by higher tax rates for the rich.
