In a fair society people can say what they think – without propagating violence – freely without being threatened or demonised. Those in power do not use the resources of the state only for the benefit of their followers, but make sure that those with not-so-loud-voices and not-so-big-numbers feel safe. In a fair society justice and good education are available for all, not just for the rich. It is a place where people treat each other with respect and do not exploit one another, where everyone can grow old in the knowledge that they’ll be cared for.
