In my opinion, a fair society is one which is egalitarian, individual success is based on a persons ability and not wealth or status. I believe that a fair society would not allow gender, sexuality, religion (or lack thereof) to hinder a persons advancement. I believe that everyone will see bad luck and ill health at some point in their life and I think that a helping hand (in the form of a strong welfare state) should be in place to protect people when this happens.
